Lucy came to me with a brief to make large, fun earrings for her wedding day. She wanted the earrings to tell the story of who she was as an individual and who they were as a couple. Lucy gave me a great deal of creative freedom on this project. We tried to make each image symbolic in several ways. Sunrises could also be sunflowers, palm fronds could also be puppy dog tails. Made from copper, brass and sterling silver.
