Quandong Bangle for Harriet
This is a really sweet little commission I create recently for a 10th birthday gift.
Harriet (my daughter’s best friend) gifted me a handful of carefully selected quandong seeds she’d gathered from her driveway after I’d commented on them. I have used those precious quandongs to make many things including ‘Harriet’s Quandong Earrings’ which are available in the shop. Upon seeing the earring listing Harriet commented to her Mum that she might like to own her namesake earrings and please could she get her ears pierced for this purpose. The earrings are pretty hefty in size and weight so instead her Mum secretly commissioned a quandong bangle to celebrate her turning double digits.
A ziplock bag of carefully selected driveway quandongs was stealthily exchanged as the school gate and a few days later Harriet’s bangle was complete!
Made in brass and recycle sterling silver set with a quandong and a freshwater pearl. This is a very sentimental pieces to see her through into adulthood.
