In this workshop you will learn how to use a jeweller’s piercing saw to cut shapes from sheet metal. You’ll be guided through a process of filing, sanding and shaping copper to make flower shapes. We will then use a torch to create oxidized stamens from recycled sterling silver wire and compile minimalist flower earrings.
You’ll also be shown how to make these beautiful mini versions of my very popular copper bow ornaments for earrings and other adornments.
This is very beautiful workshop and promises to be a lot of fun. This is a skill workshop, so whilst you will leave with some beautiful jewellery, you will ALSO leave with the ability to make almost any shape from flat pieces of sheet metal including inverted and internal shapes - the possibilities with these skills are almost endless!
